O you who believe! Obey Allâh and obey the Messenger, and those of you who are in authority. If you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allâh and His Messenger, if you believe in Allâh and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination. Qur'an (4:59)

Unity Between Sunni and Shi'a

The question of unity between sunni schools of thought and shia schools of thought has been debated for centuries. Slander, hate-crimes, wars, and many other extreme measures have often taken precedence over intelligent discussion and dialogue. We hope, insha'Allah, to get to the reasons behind this and also answer many of the questions regarding the sunni/shia split. Furthermore, we hope to educate Muslims and non-muslims alike to an understanding of why these groups should unite.
