In the book Al-Awsat, Tibrani narrates from Abdullah ibne Jafar that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) says: “O the sons of Hashim! I pray to Allah that you may always be generous and merciful. And I pray to Him that He may guide the misguided ones from you, and bestow tranquility upon the fearful ones, and satiate the hungry ones. By the one who controls my life none can achieve tranquility except that he loves you and loves you for the sake of me. And wishes that I will intercede for him to be allowed to enter Paradise. But all of the sons of Abdul Muttalib are not like this.”2 |
