One Ummah Network fully endorses The Amman Message, which contains the following three points, crucial to Muslim unity and the future of the Islamic Ummah:
1. That all Muslims of traditional Islamic schools of thought, including both Sunni and Shi'a schools, are Muslim, and their blood is sacred to all other Muslims.
2. It is impermissible to declare any Muslim an apostate (the practice of takfir).
3. Only those with proper religious education (i.e. scholars) may pronounce fatwas (edicts).
In recognition of Quds Day (the last Friday in the month of Ramadan), One Ummah Network presents this video in expression of our solidarity with the Palestinian people. May Allah liberate them from oppression and shower them with His mercy.
And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from God.)"
And before Solomon were marshaled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks. At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you unknowingly."
In the sixth year after the emigration to Madinah, the Prophet decided to perform the `Umrah, so he set out with 1,400 Muslims in pilgrim's dress, heading towards Makkah, but the Quraish did not allow them to enter the city. The Muslims halted at a place called Hudaibiyah. From there, the
Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a messenger to the
Makkans to tell them that the Muslims were there only to perform `Umrah and had not the slightest intention to fight. But the Makkans humiliated the messenger, and he returned without success.
